TNHB Recruitment 2017 – 277 Typist & Other Vacancies – Tamil Nadu Housing Board (TNHB) has published a recruitment notification for special recruitment of 277 Assistant Engineer, Surveyor, Junior Draughting Officer, Technical Assistant, Junior Assistant and Typist posts on direct recruitment basis. TNHB Recruitment Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification:

For Assistant Engineer posts should have acquired Degree in Civil Engineering of any university recognized by the Govt of Tamil Nadu or any other equivalent qualification, have passed section “A” and “B” of AMIE (Ind) Examination.

For Surveyor/ Junior Draughting Officer/ Technical Assistant posts should have acquired SSLC or X standard.

For Junior Assistant posts should have acquired SSLC/ 10th standard.

For Typist posts should have acquired SSLC/ 10th standard with typewriting English & Tamil lower & higher grade in Tamil or English.

Age Limitation:

Applicant’s age limit should be between 18 – 35 years for SC, SC (A), ST, MBC/ DC, BC and BC (M), 18 – 30 years for i.e candidates not belonging to SC, SC (A), ST, MBC/ DC, BC and BC (M) as on 01-07-2017. Age relaxation is admissible as per rules.

Selection Procedure:

Selection for above designation will be done based on applicant’s performance in Competitive Written examination & Interview.

Fees of Application:

Applicants have to pay application fees which is Rs. 500/- for OC, BC, BC (M), MBC & DC, Rs. 250/- for SC, SC (A), ST, Differently Abled Person belonging to Tamil Nadu through online (payment gateway).
