Job Description for the post of Web Developer

Work together with the Product Manager to plan and execute projects, ensure that teams have appropriate product and technical specifications, direction, and resources to deliver products effectively by establishing realistic estimates for timelines while ensuring that projects remain on target to meet deadlines;

Provide a software development plan that meets the future needs of our clients and markets, based on the state of the art technologies;

Evolve the existing software system applications and architecture in various areas as needed.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent course ;

Must have at least 2-3 years’ experience working through the design, development, release cycle, and delivering software products ;
Proven software development experience in PHP;

A record of successful delivery of software applications as an individual, team leader and/or development manager;

Ability to use a wide variety of open source technologies and cloud services;

Relevant experience with web services and REST;

Understanding of relational databases (MSSQL, MySQL);

Strong background in Linux/Unix Administration;

Demonstrable knowledge of web technologies including HTML, CSS, Javascript, AJAX etc;

Good knowledge of relational databases, version control tools and of developing web services;

Experience in common third-party APIs (Google, Facebook, Ebay etc);

Willingness to dive into software environments and technical issues;

Passion for best design and coding practices and a desire to develop new bold ideas;

Build reusable code and libraries for future use;

Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs;

Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability;

Good understanding of SEO principles and ensuring that application will adhere to them.
