Sub Editor-Magazine

• Bachelor’s Degree in related discipline with 2 plus years of work experience
• The desired candidate should possess sound editing skills and acquaintance with capital markets and financial jargon will be an advantage.
• Should be trained in stock market surveillance and derivatives and commodities dealing
• Should be a team player, an individual who can add clarity and flair to stories
• Candidate should have experience in writing, Should have written on economy or market or business or financial market.
• Must have strong news judgement and a satisfactory understanding of financial market and stock market specifically
• Must possess excellent verbal and written communications skills, and must exhibit the ability to work cohesively with team members

Job profile

• Writing on emerging trends in the financial markets policy formulation ability to gather and analyse information from a variety of sources
• Identify potential story topics about the financial markets and related fields.
• Contribute to global equity stories, while working with or mentoring stock market reporters to develop and improve equities coverage way.
• valuate content to ensure accuracy and recommend modifications and changes as required; edit articles ensuring that quality is maintained
• Manage and organise all copy editing processes; draft and edit all online content for magazine and website
• Gather and analyse information quickly, effectively, and accurately.
• Construct sophisticated and complex story packages
• To routinely assist in editing reports, and other documents
• Observe, analyse, and track news sources impacting the stock markets and financial services industry
