IIHR Recruitment 2017 – 70 Young Professional I & Other Vacancies – Indian Institute of Horticulture Research (IIHR), Bengaluru, Karnataka has published a recruitment notification for special recruitment of 70 Young Professional – I, Young Professional – II and Senior Office Assistant posts on temporary basis. IIHR Recruitment Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification:

Candidates willing to apply for Young Professional – I posts should have acquired B. Sc (Agri. or Horticulture or Life Science/ Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/ Microbiology/ Botany) and M. Sc (Agri./ Microbiology/ Biochemistry/ Post Harvest Technology/ Food Science & Technology/ Chemistry/ Horticulture), M. Tech (Food/ Process engineering), Graduation in Agriculture/ Science Degree.

For Young Professional – II posts should have acquired M. Sc (Agri. or Horticulture or Life Science), M. Sc (Agri.) with Plant Physiology or Biochemistry or Biotechnology or M. Sc (Hort.) or M. Sc in Botany/ M. Tech in Bioinformatics, Biotechnology/ MCA/ Master Degree in Soil Science/ Agriculture/ M. Sc (Science) anybranch/ M. Sc in Chemistry/ Analytical Chemistry/ Industrial Chemistry.

For Senior Office Assistant posts should have acquired B. Sc/ BCA with 01 year experience in handling office communication knowledge of using MS office (Word/ Excel and Power point) with relevant experience. For more qualification details refer the notification.

Age Limitation:

Applicant’s age limit should be between 21 – 40 years as on 30-05-2017. Age relaxation is applicable to SC/ ST/ OBC and other exempted categories of candidates as per rules.

Selection Procedure:

Selection for above designation will be done based on applicant’s performance in Personal Interview.
