IHBT Recruitment 2017 – 23 Senior Scientist/ Scientist & Other Vacancies – Institute of Himalayan Bioresource Technology (IHBT), Palampur, Himachal Pradesh has published a recruitment notification for special recruitment of 23 Senior Scientist and Senior Technical Officer/ Technical Officer & Junior Engineer posts on purely temporary basis. IHBT Recruitment Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification:

Candidates willing to apply for Senior Scientist/ Scientist posts should have acquired B. Tech/ M. Sc with MBA or M.E/ M. Tech with 3 years experience or Ph. D with 2 years experience, B. Tech/ M. Sc with MBA (1st class or 60% on an aggregate) or M.E/ M. Tech or Ph. D (Science) submitted.

For Sr. Technical Officer/ Technical Assistant & Junior Engineer posts should have acquired M. Sc in any branch of Plant Science/ Agriculture/ Biotechnology/ Life Sciences after 1 st class B. Sc with 5 years experience in the area of molecular biology from a recognized Institute/ Organisation, M. Sc in Chemistry/ Biochemistry/ Food Science/ Food Technology with 55% marks after 1 st class B. Sc with 5 years experience in developing products based on tea. Age Limitation:

Applicant’s age limit should be 37 years for Senior Scientist, 32 years for Scientist, 40 years for Senior Technical Officer & 28 years for Technical Assistant & Junior Engineer.

Fees of Application:

Applicants have to pay application fees which is Rs. 100/- in the form of Crossed Demand Draft (DD) drawn on any nationalized bank and valid for at least 3 months in favor of the “Director, CSIR-IHBT” payable at Palampur (Himachal Pradesh) SBI-Bank Code No. 03632. No fee for SC/ ST/ PWD/ Women/ CSIR employees and abroad candidates.
