Position Description:
Expertise in developing, managing and implementing core features Test Plan / Test Cases of backend applications. (Database / DWH, BI reports, ETL, FTP /SFTP, REST Client APIs, Web services & UI) through Automation Framework using Java Or Java Script.
Experience in writing end-end Automation test cases using Selenium, Appium and related technologies.
Experience in creating test scripts using Soap UI / TestNG / Cucumber/ Lisa and validation.
Experience in (Manual & Automation) testing of software using REST Client APIs and Web Services on Http and Https protocol, Advanced UI/Frontend, Application Log servers (Automating Unix and Linux Logs) and any DB validation testing.
Experience testing different web service methodologies REST, SOAP, Web Services, SOA, XML, JSON.
Hands-on experience working with relational database (Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL) .
Quality assurance testing for large-scale, eCommerce backend applications, tools, and/or software.
Support continuous integration process improvement and innovation.
Write test plans and test cases (manual/automated).
Improve, optimize, and identify opportunities for improved software development lifecycle.
Troubleshoot critical defects in software coding.
Work closely with the Developers and Engineers to achieve a high level of code coverage.
Strong prior experience in QA test technologies such as Selenium Webdriver, JUnit, TestNG or equivalent technologies required.
QE experience in J2EE technologies strongly preferred
Experience with Agile Methodologies.
Experience with defect management tools like JIRA, Confluence etc.
