PCCS is a software house that specializes in the creation of business-critical service management and retail database applications. We have a head office in Northampton, England and a regional office in Hyderabad, India).

First established in 1992 our clients are consumer electronic & domestic appliance manufacturers, mobile phone networks, major retailers and service centres. The majority of our software has been speculatively created and deployed, however, a significant number of applications have been designed and built to meet client’s specific requirements. Many of these client relationships have been in operation for more than 10 years; however, the solutions we provide are constantly enhanced to ensure they meet the requirements of a demanding customer base as technology evolves.

We are currently developing our product suite called Skyline. This is a relatively new application that will eventually envelop most of our existing product suite. Skyline is being developed as a joint venture driven by the defined requirements of our primary clients and our in-house development team.

We require a PHP Developer to join our office in Hyderabad, where they will work directly within a local development team, and alongside our team in the UK to produce development of the very highest standard.

Skills and Expertise:

The applicant must technically strong with a minimum of 5 years’ experience working on a range of projects. The applicant will have the ability to produce robust PHP development code and will be comfortable working throughout the entire development life cycle. The applicant must be able to demonstrate their capability to produce HTML/CSS template pages from provided artwork and feel comfortable working with a model/view/controller paradigm.

Core skills required include:

 5 years+ experience in application development with any MVC framework
 5 years+ PHP experience
 JQUERY
 AJAX
 SMARTY
 REST
 CSS
 MySQL
 The applicant must be a fluent in English (excellent spoken and written)
 Strong analytical skills with the ability to transform functional requirements into a robust technical design

Any experience of PHP/PDO, Blueprint, LESS or SOAP will be advantageous. Potential applicants with a B.Tech / M.Tech, MSc Computers, MCA in computer science will be given priority.
