Full Job Description

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Assistant Manager, or an experienced Travel Consultant with supervisory experience, to use and develop their skills with a forward-thinking retail travel company.

1) Assist the Retail Travel Branch Manager with the management and development of the Travel Consultants in their Oxfordshire Branch
2) Customer service and rapport are paramount
3) Help motivate and encourage the team to meet and exceed targets, continually improving themselves and their branch’s sales
4) Regularly update the team on promotions, offers and information from Head Office about objectives and targets
5) First point of contact for customer service issues, investigating and resolving issues as they arise and delivering excellent customer service
6) Deputise for the Branch Manager when they are absent
7) Raise the profile of the branch by marketing to the local community and engaging the local community
8) Be hands on taking inquiries to world-wide destinations and converting to bookings to exceed sales targets
